About the Role We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to serve as the Wellness Director for a small senior living community in Georgia. This leadership role is ideal for a nurse who thrives in a hands-on environment, is passionate about senior care, and enjoys leading and supporting caregiving teams. The Director of Resident Services ensures high-quality care delivery, resident well-being, and regulatory compliance within the community. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily clinical operations within the community Lead, coach, and schedule caregiving and medication teams Monitor residents' health and coordinate care plans in collaboration with physicians, families, and staff Ensure compliance with state regulations and maintain readiness for inspections and surveys Conduct regular audits, assessments, and resident evaluations Participate in the hiring, training, and mentoring of care staff Collaborate closely with the Executive Director and leadership team to promote a resident-centered care culture Provide on-call clinical support and respond to urgent resident care needs as required Qualifications Active, unrestricted LPN license in the state of Georgia Strong clinical judgment and leadership skills Excellent communication skills with the ability to build trust with residents, families, and staff Strong organizational and time-management abilities Comfortable using electronic health records and basic technology systems Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Wellness Director, Director of Nursing or Care Management position in a senior living setting. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with residents. Proven leadership abilities and experience managing a team.
