Job Description
$120,000-$140,000 annually | Relocation Assistance Available This position is located in the Minneapolis, Minnesota area. Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates interested in relocating to Minneapolis. We are seeking an experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to lead the nursing operation of a well-established Skilled Nursing Facility in the Minneapolis area. This is an excellent opportunity for an accomplished long-term care nursing leader who is ready for a new opportunity and open to relocating. The facility has an experienced staff in place and is looking for a strong clinical leader who can build on that foundation while maintaining high standards for resident care, compliance, staff development, and overall nursing operations. What You'll Do As Director of Nursing, you will have responsibility for the facility's overall nursing program and quality of resident care, including: Leading, supporting, and developing the nursing team Overseeing nursing policies, procedures, and standards of care Maintaining compliance with federal, state, CMS, and Department of Health requirements Leading quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives Coaching and mentoring nursing staff while addressing performance issues when necessary Partnering closely with the Nursing Home Administrator and other department leaders Resolving staff, resident, and family concerns effectively Communicating with residents and families regarding care Promoting a collaborative, accountable, resident-focused nursing culture What We're Looking For Active Registered Nurse (RN) license Previous Director of Nursing leadership experience in a Skilled Nursing or Long-Term Care setting Strong knowledge of nursing home regulations and clinical compliance Proven ability to lead, develop, and motivate nursing teams Strong communication, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills Candidates currently outside Minnesota are encouraged to apply if they are willing to relocate and can obtain Minnesota RN licensure Compensation & Benefits $120,000-$140,000 annual salary , based on experience and qualifications Relocation assistance available Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Generous paid time off Full-time leadership opportunity Confidential Search We understand that experienced nursing leaders often need discretion when considering a career move.
