Our Director of Long Term Care & Independent Living plays a vital role in ensuring exceptional care, service, and quality of life for residents of PARC Hall and tenants of Willow Ridge Independent Living. In this leadership role, you will oversee the daily operations of both areas while creating a safe, welcoming, and resident-centered environment. You will work collaboratively with nursing leadership, physicians, employees, residents, families, and other PACHS departments to ensure services are delivered with compassion, respect, and a commitment to excellence. In this role, you will provide leadership and operational oversight for PARC Hall and Willow Ridge Independent Living. Responsibilities include managing and developing staff, supporting recruitment and orientation, overseeing departmental operations and budgets, addressing resident and family concerns, and continually evaluating processes and workflows for opportunities to improve quality, efficiency, and service. You will develop, implement, and periodically review policies and procedures to ensure services comply with federal and state regulations and PACHS standards. You will also stay current on industry trends, regulatory standards, policies, and legislation, support regulatory readiness and quality-improvement efforts, and advise administration of developments that may impact operations. This role requires strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills along with the ability to build effective relationships with residents, families, employees, providers, and organizational leaders. Candidates must be graduates of an accredited school of nursing and hold a current Iowa Registered Nurse (RN) license. A minimum of three years of RN experience is required, with geriatric and/or long-term care experience preferred. Previous management, supervisory, or administrative experience is also preferred. Candidates should possess basic computer skills, have the ability to work flexible hours, and maintain certifications required for the assigned work area.
