We're now seeking a highly motivated, compassionate Registered Nurse to join our dedicated team as Assistant Director of Nursing, helping ensure the delivery of exceptional, person-centered care to our residents. Our Core Values Kindness Integrity Commitment Collaboration Accountability Key Responsibilities Clinical Leadership Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to oversee and coordinate clinical operations Ensure ongoing compliance with state and federal regulatory standards and nursing best practices Lead and monitor quality improvement initiatives to continually elevate resident care Staff Management Supervise, mentor, and support nursing staff, fostering a positive and collaborative workplace culture Assist in recruitment, new employee orientation, and ongoing professional development of nursing personnel Model accountability and commitment as a frontline nursing leader Resident & Family Care Monitor and assess the quality of resident care, upholding the highest standards of safety and dignity Partner with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized plans of care Address resident and family concerns with empathy, timeliness, and a solutions-focused approach Education & Professional Development Provide educational opportunities and in-services to strengthen nursing staff skills and knowledge Stay current on industry trends, regulatory updates, and evidence-based best practices Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Iowa Minimum of 3 years of long-term care nursing experience; prior leadership or management experience strongly preferred Strong working knowledge of regulatory requirements and healthcare best practices in skilled nursing Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire, and motivate a diverse nursing team Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and general computer applications Willingness to participate in rotating on-call schedule (every fourth weekend) Why Join Our Team?
