On Call Requirement:
Will rotate call, & once staffing is stabilized call hours will be on a recurring rotation

Responsibilities:
As a Director of Nursing you will be responsible for the administration and management of Nursing Services to residents in accordance with orders of the physicians and the total needs of the residents. You will also be responsible for 24-hour supervision of Nursing Services and directing the Nursing Department to maintain quality standards of care. In the absence of the Administrator, you will assume responsibility for center operations.
Must Haves:
License:
IL RN License
  • may consider someone without, but must start the licensing process and get temporary IL license before start date
Certification:
BLS Experience:
Must have 2 years of DON experience, preferably in a LTC, SNF, or Assisted Living facility
Education:
ASN, BSN or MSN preferred
Preferences:
Infection Prevention (IP) Certification
  • may be required upon being hired, if candidate is not already certified About the

Number of Beds:
101 beds
  • current census between 50-60 beds
Patient Care/Diagnoses:
LTC, Recovery, and Rehab Direct Reports DON
