Job Description

Our Assisted Living Facility is seeking a Motivated, Energetic Illinois Licensed Registered Nurse to continue the success of our facility. This full-time or part-time position oversees the Nursing Department with LPN's and CNA's for approximately 70-100 assisted living residents. The RN is actively involved in the Development of the Resident Assessments and Care Plans, as well as directing the delivery of resident care in accordance with regulatory requirements and Physician orders. The job requires the delegation of nursing tasks to LPN's and CNA's in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act. Responsibilities for the overall management of the Resident medications, including setup of medications, delegation of the administration of medications, following State Specific rules, and providing clinical support, regarding any medication issues. We are fortunate to have a designated pharmacy to collaborate with. The RN is accountable for ensuring all Physician orders are processed and followed up on in a timely manner, and that the Nursing staff are directing and documenting resident care in accordance with HIPPA Guidelines. The RN is also responsible for the coordination of interviewing and hiring Nursing staff. Nurses oversee the direction of the nursing assistants and help with the scheduling of all 3 shifts. On call is shared with LPN staff and rotated daily. This position requires a dedicated RN to assist in the coordination of Daily Operations to ensure the highest quality of services are delivered. Over ½ of our staff have been here at least 5 years or longer.
