Director of Nursing DON RAM Recruiting - 5.0 Covington, KY Job Details Full-time 13 hours ago Qualifications Nursing RN License Nursing Full Job Description A well-established skilled nursing facility in Kentucky is seeking an experienced and compassionate Director of Nursing (DON) to lead the nursing department. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong nurse leader to make an impact in a supportive, resident-centered environment. Key Responsibilities Provide overall leadership and direction for the nursing department. Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and CMS regulations. Oversee staffing, scheduling, training, and development of nursing staff. Maintain survey readiness and lead quality improvement initiatives. Collaborate with administration, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams to achieve the highest standards of resident care. Foster a positive, team-oriented culture focused on compassionate care and accountability. Qualifications Active RN license in Kentucky (required). Prior DON or ADON experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility strongly preferred. In-depth knowledge of long-term care regulations, PDPM, and survey process.
