Job Summary As a Director of Nursing (DON) at Vantage Care, you will oversee the clinical operations of the nursing department and ensure the highest standards of resident care. You will lead, mentor, and support the nursing team while fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. The Director of Nursing (DON) is also responsible for regulatory compliance, staff development, and driving quality improvement initiatives. - Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse license.
- Minimum of two (2) years' experience in post-acute care.
- Minimum of two (2) years' experiences as a Director of Nursing Services in a skilled nursing facility.
- Must have demonstrated a mastery of good clinical nursing skills.
- Organizes and directs the Nursing Department by establishing objectives and standards for achieving those objectives.
- Powerful knowledge of state and federal regulations.
- Solid understanding of reimbursement.
