DIRECTOR OF NURSING
Blaire House of Milford is a 73-bed skilled nursing center. We have been family owned and operated, servicing the health care needs of seniors for 50+ years. We specialize in Short Term Care, Long Term Care, Rehabilitation, Sub-acute Care, and Alzheimer's Specialty Care. Our facility also hosts an Adult Day Health Center, Senior Transportation and Home Care Services. 100% in-house nursing staff with no agency Advanced Scheduling Software for efficient and streamlined scheduling DON Certification Training for new DON Candidates .
Job Summary:
Assume responsibility for direct technical supervision of the Nursing Department. Interpret operational policy and procedures and review work performance to determine conformance to recognized standards and merit salary determinations. Makes recommendations for hire, fighting and scheduling decisions to the Executive Director, providing direct supervision and orientation of all nursing personnel or for delegating and supervising these duties. Evaluate productivity, work efficiency, and professional proficiency of all nursing department members. Assume responsibility for departmental related records, including but not limited to requisitioning of medical supplies and equipment, inventory systems, cleaning and maintenance schedule of nursing-related items, patient records, nursing hours, and patient reports.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION
Graduation from an accredited, approved school of nursing. Current registration with the State Board of Nurse Examiners.
TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
At least five years of nursing experience. DON Certification Training will be provided for new DON Candidates.
Salary:
$100,000 and incentive with company vehicle $110,000 and incentive without company vehicle
