As a Director of Nursing, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality care for our patients while fostering a collaborative and supportive environment for our staff. About the
Role:
As a Director of Nursing, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our nursing department, ensuring that our patients receive exceptional care and attention.
Your duties will include:
Assessing patients' health needs and developing and implementing care plans Administering medications and treatments as prescribed Monitoring patients' vital signs and reporting any changes to the appropriate staff member Communicating with patients and families to provide education and support Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure continuity of treatment Documenting patients' progress and outcomes using electronic medical records Staying up-to-date with current research and best practices in nursing Participating in professional development opportunities to maintain and improve skills Assisting with hands-on patient care as needed to support the team
Requirements:
Current state license as a Registered Nurse (RN) Two (2) years supervisory experience preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
