We are in search of a Full Time Director of Nursing to lead, energize and support our amazing team of caregivers and our residents. The Director of Nursing plays a critical role in providing superior customer service and nursing services to all residents in the facility. The DON is responsible for the planning, development and overall operation of the Nursing Department which ensures residents receive quality care 24 hours a day. Why Join our Team? Essential Functions of the position include, but are not limited to: Assess, direct and supervise resident care needs. Supervise and manage all aspects of clinical services Lead and manage clinical staff Maintain the comfort, privacy and dignity of our residents and interact with them in a manner that displays warmth, respect and promotes a caring environment.
Qualified Candidates will:
Be a Registered Nurse licensed in the State of Michigan
ATTENTION INDIANA
NURSES- We will sponsor your Michigan license Have previous experience working in a long term care facility Have strong written and communication skills Have a passion for supporting the nursing needs of the aged and chronically ill Be CPR certified Have an understanding of Medicare guidelines Previous experience as a Director of Nursing Preferred, but not required. Have demonstrated analytical skills and professional interpersonal & leadership skills.
Salary Information:
$103,000- $118,000/year based on experience $10,000 Sign on Bonus Some of our
