Job Description

Director of Nursing Pomeroy Living is seeking a highly skilled Director of Nursing to manage our nursing department and ensure the highest quality of care for our residents at our state-of-the-art skilled nursing facility. The ideal candidate will have experience in evaluating nursing care and services provided to residents, developing policies and procedures, and managing a team of nursing professionals.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the nursing department and ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations Evaluate nursing care and services provided to residents and implement improvements as needed Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the highest quality of care Manage a team of nursing professionals and provide ongoing training and support Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless care for residents Monitor performance and provide feedback to nursing staff Participate in the hiring and onboarding of new nursing staff Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all nursing care provided
Requirements:
Active nursing license in the state of Michigan Bachelor's degree or higher in nursing Minimum of 5 years of experience in nursing management Strong leadership and communication skills Ability to work collaboratively with other departments Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to skilled nursing Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills #PM25
