Director of Nursing for Skilled Nursing Albert Lea, MN 56007 Lead clinical care at

•116,000/year, with a full-time Monday-Friday schedule and on-call responsibility every other week.

What You'll Do:

Oversee the daily clinical and administrative operations of the nursing department Lead nursing staff and nurse managers in delivering high-quality resident care Develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and quality improvement initiatives Manage staffing levels, performance management, training, delegation, and staff development Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations and licensing requirements Monitor quality of care and develop plans of correction when needed Collaborate with physicians, medical professionals, residents, families, and other healthcare organizations Manage nursing department resources, including medications, medical supplies, equipment, and inventory Prepare and manage the nursing department's annual budget Support residents' comfort, privacy, dignity, and overall well-being Provide clinical guidance and participate in direct resident care during emergencies or as needed Maintain readiness for annual state and federal inspections What You'll Need (Required): Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state(s) in which you practice At least 5 years of leadership experience in nursing At least 1 year of experience in gerontological nursing, rehabilitative, and restorative clinical practices Demonstrated knowledge of nursing and medical practices, regulations, and guidelines related to skilled nursing facilities Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English to effectively communicate with residents, families, staff, and other customers

Preferred:

Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing 2+ years of experience as a Director of Nursing (DON) or Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) Experience in healthcare management and operations, quality management, staff development, and resident and family support

Schedule:
Full-time, Monday-Friday:

8:00 AM

•4:30 PM On-call every other week
