Job Description

Contract Director of Nursing (Skilled Nursing) leading a 26-week travel assignment in a skilled nursing facility in or near Winona, Minnesota. The role focuses on managing nursing staff, ensuring compliance with regulations, and enhancing resident care quality. It offers competitive pay and benefits for experienced nursing leaders.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead nursing staff to ensure high-quality resident care in a skilled nursing facility Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations, including documentation and reporting Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement resident-tailored care plans Manage staffing schedules, performance evaluations, and personnel development initiatives Execute operational procedures to optimize facility efficiency and resident satisfaction
Qualifications:
MN RN license AHA BLS certification Minimum of 2+ years of geriatric nursing experience At least two years in a long-term care facility Ability to work flexible day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Strong leadership and communication skills Proficiency with EMR systems
Preferred Skills:
Previous managerial, lead, or DON experience Proficiency with Matrix EMR system
