Job Description
Job Summary The Director of Nursing (DON) oversees the nursing services for Sunflower State Vital Care and its affiliates in Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, Illinois and Iowa. This role serves as the primary healthcare administrator for the company; a nursing degree is preferred but not required. The DON is responsible for ensuring high-quality patient care, compliance with all federal, state, and professional standards, and effective leadership of all nursing staff within the organization. This is an administrative, office-based role that combines clinical expertise in infusion therapy with strategic responsibilities, serving as a clinical bridge between patients, providers and pharmacies. This candidate can reside in the KC or STL area.
