Available and paid in incrementsPosition SummaryWe are seeking a passionate and experienced nursing leader to serve as Director of Nursing (DON). This position offers an opportunity to lead nursing operations, mentor clinical teams, drive quality outcomes, and promote resident-centered care within a skilled nursing/post-acute environment.

The Director of Nursing will be responsible for planning, organizing, developing, and directing the overall operation of the Nursing Services Department in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as facility policies and procedures.

Key ResponsibilitiesLead and oversee all nursing operations within the facility.

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local healthcare regulations.

Drive clinical excellence and quality improvement initiatives.

Recruit, develop, mentor, and retain nursing staff.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize resident outcomes.

Monitor quality measures, infection prevention, risk management, and regulatory compliance.

Manage staffing, scheduling, labor utilization, and departmental budgets.

Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and resident-centered care.

Support survey readiness and successful regulatory outcomes.

Partner with facility leadership to achieve operational and clinical goals.

Promote a positive and engaged work culture.

Ensure the highest degree of quality resident care.

QualificationsCurrent Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.

Minimum of 3 years of nursing leadership experience.

Prior Director of Nursing experience in a skilled nursing or post-acute setting preferred.

Strong knowledge of CMS regulations, state regulations, and survey processes.

Demonstrated success in staff development and team leadership.

Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Strong understanding of quality, compliance, and resident-centered care.

Passion for delivering exceptional resident care.
