Night House Supervisor / Patient Flow Specialist Great Falls, MT This role provides night shift leadership, operational oversight, and clinical guidance for a healthcare system's hospital administrative team in Great Falls, MT. The Night House Supervisor manages hospital-wide patient flow, guides clinical staff on policies and procedures, and optimizes nursing resource assignments during night shifts, working directly with clinical leaders and the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) on administrative decision-making, staff coaching, and conflict resolution across all departments. Schedule Full time, on-site, night shift. Compensation $83,000 to $95,000 per year, plus applicable night shift differentials. What You'll Do In this role, you will provide shift supervision and administrative decision-making in collaboration with charge nurses, clinical leaders, and the Chief Nursing Officer. You will optimize patient flow throughout the facility, manage nursing resource assignments, and streamline inter-departmental transfers and admissions. You will direct hospital staff in interpreting and applying organizational policies, organizing workflows, delegating tasks, monitoring productivity, and providing constructive feedback. You will serve as the primary point of contact for resolving complex clinical situations, problem solving, and addressing patient or family complaints and concerns, working closely with charge nurses, physicians, and clinical and non-clinical support teams to ensure cohesive, safe, and efficient hospital operations. Required Qualifications Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited program Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Montana, or immediate eligibility to obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications, or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire Minimum of 3 years of hospital-based RN clinical experience Recent clinical background in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) or Emergency Department (ED) setting Demonstrated background in patient flow management, resource nurse duties, or charge nurse/leadership roles Clinical experience caring for patients across all life stages, from infancy to geriatrics Proficiency operating advanced critical care medical equipment, including IV pumps, arterial lines, invasive lines, chest tubes, and ventilator support Strong background in cardiac monitoring and post-operative/medical patient care management Strong interpersonal, conflict management, critical thinking, and crisis prioritization skills Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in a formal charge nurse or nursing leadership role Compensation and Benefits $83,000 to $95,000 per year base salary, plus night shift differentials Medical and dental insurance Life and disability insurance Retirement savings program with employer matching Paid time off and holiday allocations Professional development and growth opportunities To apply, submit your resume for consideration.
