Job Description

Pisgah Manor Healthcare Center is seeking a qualified individual to join our team as the Assistant Director of Nursing. The Assistant Director of Nursing plays a vital role in our ability to continuously provide quality care through outstanding leadership, guidance, and supervision of the nursing team. You'll be instrumental in fostering a culture of excellence, ensuring adherence to protocols and best practices, and empowering our nursing team to deliver compassionate, high-quality care to every patient. Your guidance and support will be pivotal in maintaining our standards of excellence and enhancing the overall patient experience. Job Summary Serve as the DON in the absence of the DON; Assists the DON in management, supervision, and direction of all functions of the nursing department. Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve departmental and center goals and objectives. Ensures compliance with current standards of nursing practice, company policies and procedures, and Federal, State, and Local guidelines and regulations. Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, professional growth, and employee engagement. Participate in recruitment, selection, and hiring process of quality nursing staff. Provides leadership and provides regular feedback to staff on performance. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes and enhance the quality of care provided in skilled nursing settings. Qualifications Active, unencumbered licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in state of practice. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred. Ability to lead diverse team of individuals. Strong ability to make independent decisions and work without direct supervision. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Highly organized and detail oriented. Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
