Job Description
Margate Health & Rehabilitation located in beautiful Jefferson, North Carolina is currently seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our team of dedicated health care professionals. The applicant must possess a current, active license to practice as a Registered Nurse, and must have, as a minimum, two (2) year of recent experience in a supervisory role in a nursing care facility. The Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) helps organize, develop, and direct the overall operations of the Nursing Service Department. The ADON functions as a leader and role model for other nursing personnel and has the responsibility to relieve the Director of Nursing (DON) in his or her absence and assists with maintaining records and documents. The ADON will help the DON to complete all documentation and reports required by the Board of Nursing, and will assist with visiting and maintaining communication with the residents. The ADON will complete completes on-call rotation with other nurse managers.
