Job Description
The Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) plays a vital leadership role in supporting high-quality nursing care for residents while fostering dignity, compassion, and excellence in service. The ADON works closely with the Director of Nursing to ensure clinical standards, regulatory compliance, and resident-centered care are consistently achieved in alignment with the Vetter Senior Living Mission, Vision, and Values. Professional Qualifications The Assistant Director of Nursing must meet the following professional requirements: Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (R.N.) in the practicing state and current C.P.R. certification Strong verbal communication skills to effectively interact with residents, families, coworkers, physicians, and visitors Commitment to ongoing professional growth through participation in educational sessions, in-service training, and demonstrations Key Responsibilities Leadership & Professional Conduct Consistently apply the Vetter Senior Living Mission, Vision, and Values in daily decision-making and actions Show initiative, active problem-solving skills, and a continual desire to improve customer service and care outcomes Support ongoing staff development and encourage best practices in resident care Why Join Us?
