We are seeking an experienced, compassionate, and results-driven Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our nursing team and ensure the delivery of exceptional resident/patient care. The DON will oversee all nursing operations, maintain compliance with regulatory standards, and foster a positive, collaborative culture focused on quality outcomes. Key Responsibilities Direct and supervise all nursing services and clinical operations. Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations. Recruit, mentor, train, and evaluate nursing staff. Develop and maintain staffing plans to support quality patient care. Monitor clinical performance indicators and implement quality improvement initiatives. Collaborate with physicians, department leaders, residents, patients, and families. Manage nursing budgets, supplies, and resources efficiently. Lead infection prevention, risk management, and patient safety programs. Ensure accurate clinical documentation and timely reporting. Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing in the State of Nebraska. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred. Minimum of 3-5 years of nursing leadership experience preferred, as an Assistant DON, DON, Nurse Manager, or similar role. Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, survey processes, and quality standards. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Proven ability to build and motivate high-performing teams.
