From $88,000.00 per year Job description: Director of Nursing in Training (DIT) Program Gateway Healthcare Nebraska is seeking passionate, driven nurses interested in growing into clinical leadership through our Director of Nursing in Training (DIT) Program. This immersive, hands-on training experience is designed to prepare future nursing leaders for success in skilled nursing and post-acute care environments. If you are looking to take the next step in your nursing career while developing leadership, operational, and clinical management skills, this program offers the mentorship and real-world experience needed to thrive as a Director of Nursing. Location Omaha, NE | Randolph, NE | Falls City, NE Program Overview This multi-month leadership development program provides practical, on-the-job training under the guidance of an experienced Director of Nursing mentor. Participants will gain firsthand experience in both clinical operations and nursing leadership while developing the knowledge and confidence needed to lead high-performing care teams.
Training Includes:
  • Hands-on clinical and operational training
  • Leadership development and mentorship

  • QAPI meetings
  • Triple Check processes
  • PDPM education and reimbursement practices
  • Market and leadership meetings
  • Regulatory and compliance education
  • Team leadership and staff development

  • Interdisciplinary collaboration By the end of the program, participants will have built the clinical leadership foundation, operational knowledge, and professional relationships necessary for long-term success in nursing leadership. What We're Looking For Qualifications
  • Active State RN License
  • Skilled nursing or post-acute care experience preferred
  • Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred Ideal Candidate Traits
