Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our team and support the Director of Nursing in overseeing the nursing department. The ADON will play an important role in ensuring high-quality, compassionate, and patient-centered care for our residents while supporting clinical operations and staff development. Key Responsibilities Assist the Director of Nursing in overseeing the daily operations of the nursing department. Promote the highest level of quality, compassionate, and resident-centered care . Coordinate and monitor the facility's infection prevention and control program . Assist with ensuring compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations and policies. Plan, organize, and conduct training programs and in-services for clinical staff. Support effective communication and collaboration among nursing staff and other departments. Assist with maintaining adequate and appropriate staffing levels based on resident needs. Participate in the recruitment, interviewing, and onboarding of nursing staff as needed. Provide leadership, guidance, and support to nursing staff. Assist the Director of Nursing with maintaining accurate clinical documentation and compliance with regulatory requirements. Promote a positive and professional work environment focused on quality resident care.

At least 3 years of supervisory experience in a long-term care, skilled nursing, or sub-acute setting required. Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of long-term care regulations and clinical standards preferred.
