Overview Las Vegas Recovery Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our leadership team. As the ADON, you will assist in overseeing all aspects of nursing operations, ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality, patient-centered care. This leadership role requires strong clinical expertise, excellent management skills, and a passion for supporting patients on their journey to recovery. Duties Assist in managing a team of Registered Nurses and Licensed Practical Nurses, ensuring adherence to evidence-based practices and compassionate patient care. Review and evaluate nursing documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards. Coordinate and manage nursing schedules, including shift assignments, staffing coverage, and productivity. Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized patient care plans. Assist in overseeing nursing department operations, resource allocation, quality improvement initiatives, and patient safety programs. Provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to nursing staff, fostering professional growth and clinical excellence. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality. Support hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and performance improvement initiatives. Assist the Director of Nursing in achieving departmental goals and maintaining a culture of excellence. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration preferred. Current Nevada Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing. Minimum of 3-5 years of nursing leadership or management experience . Acute care hospital experience required; behavioral health, detoxification, or addiction treatment experience preferred. Strong knowledge of nursing standards, regulations, patient safety, and quality improvement. Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate, mentor, and develop a high-performing team. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. License/Certification Current Nevada Registered Nurse (RN) license required. Current BLS/CPR certification required.
