Director of Nursing - Ambulatory Care East Meadow, NY Nassau University Medical Center (NUMC)
Salary:
160K-170K/yr Nassau University Medical Center (NUMC), a 530-bed teaching hospital and Level I Trauma Center located just 30 miles from New York City, provides high-quality, essential healthcare to our diverse community. As we continue to expand our services and develop new programs, we are seeking an experienced Director of Nursing - Ambulatory Care to join our leadership team. In this role, you will provide leadership and oversight of nursing operations across Ambulatory Care services.
Additional responsibilities include:
Ensuring high-quality patient care while maintaining compliance with regulatory and professional standards Managing and developing nursing staff, improving clinical workflows and patient experience Fostering strong collaboration among physicians, nursing, and other healthcare professionals
Qualifications:
Master's Degree in Nursing or another healthcare -related field from a regionally accredited or New York State registered college or university Five (5) years of professional nursing experience in the specialty required by the position At least three (3) years of responsible supervisory or administrative nursing experience Ambulatory/outpatient nursing leadership experience preferred.
