Job Overview:
Sans Souci Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking an experienced and compassionate Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to support clinical leadership and ensure the delivery of high-quality resident care. The ADON will work closely with the Director of Nursing to oversee nursing operations, regulatory compliance, and staff performance in a skilled nursing environment. Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Director of Nursing with daily clinical operations Supervise nursing staff and ensure adequate staffing and coverage Ensure compliance with NYS, DOH, and CMS regulations Support quality assurance, performance improvement, and infection control initiatives Participate in staff training, evaluations, and disciplinary processes Review clinical documentation and care plans for accuracy and compliance Support survey preparedness and response activities Address resident and family concerns related to nursing care Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON)
Qualifications:
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State Prior nursing leadership experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting Strong knowledge of state and federal regulations Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills Ability to work flexible hours as needed
