The Director of Nursing (DON) is responsible for, coordinating, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing the nursing service department as well as its programs and activities in accordance with current rules and regulations and guidelines that govern the nursing care facilities.

QUALIFICATIONS OF THE DIRECTOR OF NURSING

(DON): A minimum of three years of experience in long term care nursing management At least 2 years of nursing management experience are required. Currently licensed as RN in state of OH.
