Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and visionary Director of Nursing to lead our healthcare team with passion and purpose. Must have 2 years expereince in long term care as DON. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all nursing operations, ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care while maintaining compliance with state-specific education laws and healthcare regulations. Your leadership will foster a collaborative environment that promotes continuous improvement, staff development, and organizational excellence. Duties Provide strategic leadership to nursing staff, setting clear goals aligned with organizational objectives and ensuring high standards of patient care. Manage the nursing department's budget, including resource allocation, staffing costs, and supply management to optimize operational efficiency. Ensure compliance with all state-specific education laws, healthcare regulations, and accreditation standards across the organization. Supervise and mentor nursing personnel, fostering a culture of professional growth, accountability, and teamwork. Develop and implement policies and procedures that enhance clinical quality, safety protocols, and patient satisfaction. Collaborate with executive leadership on organizational planning, clinical initiatives, and community outreach programs. Oversee staff recruitment, onboarding, training programs, and performance evaluations to maintain a highly skilled nursing team. Lead efforts in quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives to elevate patient outcomes and operational excellence. Skills Proven expertise in strategic planning, organizational management, and budget oversight within healthcare or educational environments. Strong knowledge of state-specific education laws applicable to healthcare training programs or clinical settings. Exceptional management skills with experience in staff supervision, personnel management in education or healthcare sectors, and team leadership. Demonstrated ability in academic or instructional leadership, fostering a culture of learning and development among staff. Effective communication skills for engaging with diverse teams, stakeholders, patients, families, and community partners. Leadership experience in education administration or university settings is highly desirable for guiding interdisciplinary teams. Proficiency in managing organizational budgets while balancing quality care delivery with fiscal responsibility. $88,627.92 - $106,734.70 per year
