The Pavilion at Stow for Nursing and Rehabilitation is hiring an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our nursing leadership team, with a salary of $97,000 per year. Our Assistant Director of Nursing role is a combined
ADON/MDS
position — and here's the good news: if you've been an Assistant Director of Nursing in a skilled nursing facility but haven't done MDS (Minimum Data Set) work before, we're happy to train you. What matters most is real Assistant Director of Nursing experience in a nursing home setting. We're a small 51-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility in Stow, part of a full continuing care campus offering long-term care, short-term rehab, assisted living, and specialized pulmonary services. In a building our size, the Assistant Director of Nursing knows every resident and every nurse by name — it's hands-on leadership in a close-knit community, not management from behind a desk. Prior skilled nursing facility experience is required for this role. What You'll Do Support the Director of Nursing (DON) in the day-to-day leadership of the nursing department Take ownership of the MDS (Minimum Data Set) process — with full training provided if you're new to it Supervise, mentor, and support nursing staff across shifts Help ensure quality of care, compliance, and survey readiness Serve as a hands-on clinical leader for our residents and team Qualifications Active RN (Registered Nurse) license in the State of Ohio Prior experience as an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) — required Experience in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) / long-term care (LTC) setting — required MDS (Minimum Data Set) experience a plus, but not required — willing to train the right candidate What We Offer $97,000 annual salary A small, supportive building where leadership is accessible and your voice matters Full-continuum campus with long-term care, rehab, assisted living, and pulmonary services Ready to take the next step in your nursing leadership career?
