Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) - Toledo, OH At Sweetwater Care, we are committed to providing exceptional care and services to our patients, and we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, the ADON will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality of care and patient satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to develop and implement policies, procedures, and practices that align with facility goals and objectives Provide administrative support to the nursing department, including scheduling, staffing, and budget management Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the nursing staff, ensuring quality patient care and efficient use of resources Develop, implement, and evaluate education programs for nursing staff, including orientation, in-service training, and continuing education Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient care outcomes analysis Foster effective communication and teamwork among nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare professionals Manage and resolve conflicts and concerns in a fair and timely manner
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting, with at least 1 year in a leadership or management role Current RN licensure in the state of Ohio Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
