```Duties```

• Oversee and manage the nursing department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to residents/patients
• Develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and protocols in accordance with industry standards and regulations
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate and optimize patient care
• Create and update care plans for residents/patients based on their individual needs and medical conditions
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of nursing staff, providing guidance, training, and support as needed
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient information
• Stay up-to-date with advancements in medical technology, nursing practices, and healthcare regulations
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to develop and implement effective treatment plans
• Advocate for resident/patient rights and ensure a safe and comfortable environment ```Qualifications```
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing or related field
• Valid nursing license in the state of employment
• Proven experience in nursing administration or a similar leadership role
• Strong knowledge of acute care, home health, and long-term care practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with staff, patients, families, and other healthcare professionals
• In-depth understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and patient care procedures
• Ability to effectively manage resources, budgets, and staffing levels within the nursing department
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and other healthcare technology platforms
