RESPONSIBLITIES FOR THE DIRECTOR OF NURSING ARE
Develops and implements clinical systems that ensure consistent delivery of quality resident care and services. Organizes, plans, and directs department functions and activities to comply with long and short term objectives. Consistently evaluates the department policies and procedures for compliance with current rules and regulations Monitors Quality Indicators, identifies trends, and develops action plans. Interprets regulatory requirements and monitors documentation for compliance. Maintains compliance with nursing care standards, policies, procedures and regulatory agency requirements. Manages and analyzes the staffing patterns to ensure that all nursing units are staffed accordingly. Establishes positive employee relations programs and practices. Serves as a role model and mentor for the entire nursing team, Uses effective communication skills by providing timely feedback to all personnel.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE DIRECTOR OF NURSING POSITION
Must possess a current Registered Nurse license, preferably licensedin the state of PA Three years of supervisory and/or
DIRECTOR OF NURSING
