Job Title:
Director of Nursing Job Description We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Nursing to lead and oversee all nursing operations at our new site. This role involves providing leadership and supervision to clinic nurses, infusion nurses, nurse navigators, referral intake team, and schedulers. The Director of Nursing will play a crucial role in ensuring high-quality care, developing staff, and meeting organizational goals. Responsibilities
+ Provide leadership and oversight for all nursing operations at the new site.
+ Remain hands-on during startup and growth phases, performing infusions and direct patient care as needed.
+ Support clinical operations and help establish workflows and best practices.
+ Work closely with the integration team to ensure a successful site launch.
+ Provide professional guidance and development to nurses and staff, ensuring ongoing training and education.
+ Ensure compliance with internal standard operating procedures and participate in reviews and updates.
+ Communicate care plans and schedules to patients, and provide prompt responses to patient inquiries.
+ Serve as a nurse educator/preceptor for new clinical research staff.
+ Develop and deploy training to support compliance with internal quality standards.
+ Review incoming protocols for feasibility and manage equitable study allocation.
+ Track and maintain standards and metrics in the research process.
+ Lead efforts related to growth in enrollment and address barriers to new patient visits.
+ Ensure effective inter-departmental interaction and compliance with regulatory requirements.
+ Support the use of CTMS and EHR systems for accurate documentation and data capture. Essential Skills
+ Management skills, particularly in nursing and infusion
+ Oncology experience
+ Strong leadership and people management skills
+ Vascular access expertise, including IV placement for oncology patients Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Active Pennsylvania RN license
+ Bachelor's Degree required
+ Flexibility to work beyond normal business hours during site startup as needed Work Environment The position requires the ability to work onsite Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. The work environment involves overseeing a team of nurses and staff, using technologies such as CTMS and EHR systems, and ensuring compliance with federal and regulatory agency requirements. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Pittsburgh, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $140000.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. will receive from company Workplace Type This is a fully onsite position in Pittsburgh,PA.
