We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Resident Care Director to lead and oversee the delivery of exceptional care within our senior living community. This vital role combines leadership, clinical expertise, and operational management to ensure residents receive personalized, high-quality care in a safe and supportive environment. As the Resident Care Director, you will champion resident well-being, coordinate interdisciplinary teams, and uphold compliance with healthcare regulations. Responsibilities Lead and supervise staff to deliver compassionate, resident-centered care aligned with individual care plans. Oversee the development, implementation, and review of resident care plans, ensuring they meet medical, emotional, and social needs. Manage documentation review processes including medical records, medication administration records (MARs), to ensure accuracy and compliance with DHS regulations. Coordinate interdisciplinary team efforts with outside agencies to optimize resident outcomes. Monitor shift management schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels; provide leadership during shift changes to promote seamless communication. Conduct regular audits of documentation, medical records, and care delivery processes to uphold compliance and identify areas for improvement. Foster a positive work environment through effective management practices, supervising staff performance, providing mentorship, and supporting professional development. Requirements Experience in Personal Care/Assisted Living facilities, nursing homes, with demonstrated leadership capabilities. Comprehensive understanding of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy. Supervising experience in a healthcare setting with the ability to manage multiple shifts effectively while maintaining high-quality resident care standards. Excellent communication skills for collaborating with residents' families, healthcare providers, regulatory agencies, and team members.
