Overview We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Director of Nursing to lead our short-term rehab and long-term nursing facililty with passion and strategic insight. This pivotal role involves overseeing clinical operations, ensuring the highest standards of patient care, and fostering a culture of excellence and innovation. Duties Develop and implement strategic plans to elevate nursing practices and improve patient care quality. Oversee departmental budgets, resource allocation, and staffing to ensure optimal operational efficiency. Lead, manage, and mentor nursing staff to foster professional growth, teamwork, and high performance. Collaborate with educational institutions to integrate teaching programs and support ongoing staff education. Ensure compliance with healthcare laws, accreditation standards, and safety protocols across all nursing activities. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive care plans tailored to patient needs. Promote a positive work environment that encourages innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement. Qualifications Proven experience in management within healthcare settings, with a strong background in nursing leadership. RN degree Demonstrated expertise in strategic planning, budgeting, and resource management. Experience in education administration or teaching within a university or academic environment is highly desirable. Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster collaborative relationships. Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) is required. Prior experience working within university or academic healthcare settings is a plus. Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, accreditation processes, and best practices in nursing education.
