Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Director of Nursing to join our leadership team. This vital role combines clinical expertise with administrative acumen, ensuring the delivery of high-quality nursing care while overseeing operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong management skills, strategic planning abilities, and a passion for advancing healthcare standards within a skilled nursing setting. Duties Assist the Director of Nursing in developing and implementing policies that promote excellent resident care and compliance with healthcare regulations. Supervise nursing staff, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluations to foster professional growth. Manage staffing schedules, ensuring adequate coverage to meet resident needs while maintaining organizational budget goals. Oversee quality assurance initiatives, including audits, incident investigations, and compliance documentation. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care plans and improve clinical outcomes. Lead staff training programs focused on best practices, safety protocols, and regulatory updates. Support strategic planning efforts to enhance operational efficiency and elevate the standard of care provided. Experience Proven management experience within a healthcare or skilled nursing environment, preferably in an assistant director or supervisory role. Strong knowledge of state-specific education laws related to healthcare professionals and nursing practices. Demonstrated expertise in organizational budget management and resource allocation. Background in education administration or academic leadership is advantageous for fostering staff development initiatives. Extensive experience in personnel management, team leadership, and instructional guidance for clinical staff. Familiarity with healthcare compliance standards, quality improvement processes, and regulatory requirements. University experience or advanced education in healthcare administration or related fields is preferred.
