Job Description

We are seeking an experienced, dedicated and compassionate Director of Nursing to join our brand-new, state-of-the-art community—thoughtfully designed with the latest research in mind—featuring cozy, home-like Assisted Living and Memory Care Neighborhoods to lead care for up to 48 cherished seniors in a truly warm and welcoming environment. Key Responsibilities Recruiting, screening, interviewing, scheduling, supervising, in servicing, disciplining, evaluating and dismissing nursing employees in accordance with TG Senior Services Policies and Procedures and in consultation with Executive Director Ensure high-quality resident care and compliance with state regulations Oversee the development, implementation, and review of resident care plans tailored to individual needs, perform assessments and document. Supervise the documentation review process, ensuring accuracy in medical records, EMR/EHR systems, and other medical documentation. Build positive relationships with residents and families, addressing concerns with professionalism and compassion. Lead daily clinical operations, including oversight of caregivers, med techs, LVNs. Lead and participate in care plan meetings, family conferences, and interdisciplinary team reviews. Coordinate with physicians, hospice agencies, home health providers, pharmacies, and other healthcare professionals to support continuity of care.
Qualifications:
Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in good standing and currently licensed in the State of Texas. Previous leadership experience in assisted living, long-term care, or senior living strongly preferred. Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written format with residents, families, and other members of management Computer skills and ability to use electronic documentation.
