Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced RN to serve as Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) and support the Director of Nursing in overseeing our nursing department. This role is essential in ensuring the highest standards of care for our residents, managing nursing staff, and implementing policies and procedures to enhance quality outcomes. The ideal candidate is passionate about long-term care, demonstrates strong leadership abilities, and is committed to enriching the lives of those we serve.

Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited nursing program; holds a current, unrestricted RN license in Texas. Minimum one year of nursing experience in a long-term care setting; prior leadership experience preferred. Strong clinical skills and knowledge of geriatric nursing principles and practices. Proven ability to organize, plan, and supervise the Nursing Department in collaboration with other resident services. Able to implement changes as required by federal, state, and company standards. Willingness to work varying shifts alongside staff as needed. Familiarity with PCC preferred but not required.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to ensure delivery of high-quality, regulatory-compliant care. Lead and supervise nursing staff, including RNs, LVNs/LPNs, and CNAs. Conduct resident assessments and develop individualized care plans with the interdisciplinary team. Assist with recruitment, hiring, and onboarding of nursing staff. Foster a positive, team-oriented work culture rooted in respect and communication. Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives. Maintain accurate documentation and records per policy and regulation.

Physical Requirements:
