Director of Nursing Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

Provide strategic direction and leadership to the nursing department, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives Develop, implement, and evaluate nursing policies, procedures, and standards of care Oversee the coordination of patient care services, including medication administration, wound care, and discharge planning Foster a culture of open communication, respect, and teamwork among nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare professionals Collaborate with other departments, such as Radiology, Rehabilitation, and Social Services, to ensure seamless coordination of care Recruit, retain, and develop a talented and dedicated nursing staff, providing coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to improve patient outcomes Maintain compliance with relevant regulatory agencies, accrediting bodies, and industry standards

Requirements:
