This is pivotal role combines clinical expertise with strong leadership skills to ensure the delivery of exceptional resident care while maintaining regulatory compliance and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will possess extensive nursing management experience, including supervising clinical staff, managing care plans, and overseeing documentation processes. As a key leader, you will foster a positive team environment, promote resident-centered care, and uphold the highest standards of safety and quality. Duties Lead and supervise nursing staff, including nurse managers, to ensure high-quality resident care across all shifts Develop, review, and update individualized care plans for residents, ensuring compliance with long-term care regulations and Medicare requirements Oversee clinical documentation review, medical records management, and accurate coding for billing purposes Ensure adherence to HIPAA regulations and maintain strict confidentiality of resident information Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to implement care strategies that promote residents' physical and mental well-being, including memory care and hospice services Manage staffing schedules, shift assignments, and resource allocation to optimize operational efficiency Monitor regulatory compliance through regular audits, training sessions, and policy updates aligned with state and federal standards Qualifications Valid RN license with active state registration required; leadership or management certification preferred Extensive experience in a nursing home, home health, hospice care, or long-term care facilities Proven supervisory experience managing clinical teams within a healthcare setting Strong knowledge of MDS (Minimum Data Set), care planning procedures, and documentation review processes Familiarity with EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems and EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems for efficient data management In-depth understanding of long-term care regulations, Medicare policies, HIPAA compliance, and medical terminology Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a collaborative work environment Excellent communication skills to effectively coordinate with staff, residents' families, physicians, and regulatory agencies Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail Join us as we strive to deliver compassionate, comprehensive care that enhances the lives of our residents.
