Chase City Health & Rehab is seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our leadership team as Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON)/Infection Control Preventionist . This key leadership position works closely with the Director of Nursing to support clinical excellence, develop nursing staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and promote exceptional resident outcomes. Position Summary

• The Assistant Director of Nursing collaborates with the Director of Nursing to maximize the performance and satisfaction of the nursing department and foster a positive, collaborative, and resident-centered environment. Key Responsibilities
• Oversee daily nursing operations and regulatory compliance.
• Conduct clinical rounds and evaluate resident care needs.
• Supervise, coach, evaluate, recruit, hire, and onboard nursing staff.
• Coordinate orientation, staff education, QAPI, and infection prevention activities.
• Investigate incidents and concerns in accordance with regulations.
• Review staffing, medication records, treatment records, and care plans.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapy, pharmacy, residents, and families.
• Assume DON responsibilities in the DON's absence. Qualifications
• Current Virginia RN license in good standing.
• Current CPR certification.
• Strong clinical assessment, leadership, and customer service skills.
