Overview We are seeking a highly qualified and dedicated Director of Nursing for our senior living community. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize care delivery, including physiology and anatomy knowledge to support clinical decision-making. Ensure compliance with safety protocols related to medical terminology, documentation standards, and HIPAA regulations to protect resident information. Lead quality improvement initiatives focused on enhancing resident outcomes, satisfaction, and regulatory compliance. Manage staffing levels effectively across shifts to ensure optimal resident coverage while maintaining budgetary discipline. Experience Proven experience in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, home health agencies, or hospice care environments with a strong understanding of senior care needs. Demonstrated expertise in nursing administration with supervising experience in a healthcare setting; previous management roles are highly preferred. Extensive knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and documentation review processes relevant to senior care. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams, manage shifts effectively, and foster a positive work environment focused on resident well-being. Background in acute care or specialized areas such as hospice or home health services is advantageous but not mandatory.
