Director of Nursing - Plastic Surgery Center Herndon, VA | Full-Time | Exempt Lead. Care. Grow with us. Are you a perioperative nursing leader who still loves being hands-on with patients? Confidential Plastic Surgery Center is looking for a Director of Nursing to lead our nursing team at our accredited outpatient surgical center — and to work right alongside them. This is a true working leadership role: you'll set the clinical standard for the team while personally stepping into pre-op, circulating, scrub, and PACU roles as needed, with occasional support in our clinic setting (pre/post-op visits, patient education, and aesthetic services). What You'll Do Lead and staff our perioperative nursing team, working directly alongside them in pre-op, circulating, scrub, and PACU roles as case volume requires Set the standard for clinical excellence in a fast-paced plastic and reconstructive surgery environment Own regulatory compliance and accreditation readiness (Virginia Department of Health, Medicare Conditions for Coverage, AAAHC) Hire, train, schedule, and develop a team you're proud to lead Drive quality and safety initiatives that keep patients — and your team — protected Partner closely with our surgeons and Administrator on day-to-day operations and long-term growth What You Bring Active, unrestricted Virginia RN license (or eligibility for licensure/endorsement) BSN required 5+ years of perioperative/OR nursing experience, including 2+ years in a leadership role Comfort and confidence working hands-on across pre-op, circulating, scrub, and PACU Current BLS (ACLS/PALS as applicable); CNOR strongly preferred Experience with ASC or outpatient surgical hospital regulatory standards is a big plus A leader who's equally comfortable in a staff meeting and at the bedside Why join our team? $110,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
