Travel Director Of Nursing- Interim Healthcare Leader Position Type Full-Time Job Shift Day Education Level Bachelor's Degree Travel Percentage Short-Term/Travel Assignment Category Nursing Professional & Support Salary beginning at $150k to include non-taxed stipends Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive services to state correctional facilities across the nation. We are currently seeking a full-time Director of Nursing- Interim Healthcare Leader to join our Centurion Eagles Travel Team. Our Travel Program DONs are part of an exciting travel team who works between various Department of Corrections facilities, while enjoying the benefits of having outstanding benefits and exceptional compensation. Typical travel structure would allow for return to home trips every other week. Our Traveling DON will work assignments at various facilities/locations throughout the United States per contract needs and is responsible for directing the full nursing team, providing clinical, educational and professional supervision for nursing and support staff in the correctional environment. Works under the direction of the contract manager and collaborates with mental health/medical leadership and other members of the multidisciplinary team to improve health care of incarcerated patients. Qualifications Must hold valid Compact (multi-state) Registered Nurse (RN) license in the United States; BSN preferred but not required Progressive experience in nursing care with a minimum of five years of supervisory experience preferred Experience in examining operations, formulating, developing and implementing new strategies and procedures preferred Corrections, forensics or criminal justice experience preferred Previous travel experience preferred Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLS Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check We offer excellent compensation and comprehensive benefits for our full-time team members including: Health, dental, vision, disability and life insurance 401(k) with company match Generous paid time off Paid holidays Flexible Spending Account Continuing Education benefits Much more...
