Normandy Park Senior Living is looking for a compassionate, experienced Director of Nursing for our Memory Care community . This role provides clinical leadership specifically for Memory Care while working closely alongside our Assisted Living Director of Nursing and community leadership team. We are looking for someone who understands that exceptional memory care is about more than managing clinical needs. It is about knowing the person, understanding behaviors as communication, supporting families, developing confident caregivers, and creating an environment where residents feel safe, respected, and at home. What You'll Do As our Memory Care Director of Nursing, you will: Provide clinical leadership and oversight for our Memory Care residents and team Complete and oversee resident assessments, service plans, changes in condition, and ongoing clinical follow-up Lead, coach, educate, and support caregivers and medication staff Promote dementia-informed, person-centered approaches to care and behaviors Partner with families to navigate changing needs and support successful care outcomes Collaborate closely with the Assisted Living Director of Nursing, Executive Director, providers, and other members of the leadership team Support appropriate admissions and transitions into Memory Care Oversee medication management, incidents, falls, weight changes, behaviors, and other clinical areas requiring follow-up Ensure clinical documentation and systems meet regulatory requirements and community standards Identify opportunities for quality improvement and strengthen systems before problems occur Help create an environment that supports meaningful engagement, dignity, independence, and quality of life Who We're Looking For We are looking for a nurse who is clinically strong, organized, approachable, and comfortable leading from the floor as well as from the office.

Our ideal candidate has:

A current nursing license in good standing Nursing leadership experience in memory care, assisted living, long-term care, or senior living Strong knowledge of dementia and dementia-related behaviors Experience with resident assessment, care planning, delegation, and change-of-condition management Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving skills The ability to coach and develop caregivers and medication staff Excellent communication skills with families, residents, staff, and healthcare providers Knowledge of applicable senior living regulations and clinical standards A genuine passion for improving the lives of people living with dementia Most importantly, we are looking for a leader who is visible, supportive, accountable, willing to teach, and able to build confidence within their team. A Collaborative Clinical Team This position is focused specifically on Memory Care, but you won't be leading clinical services alone.
