Job Overview The Health and Wellness Director plays a pivotal role in overseeing the health and wellness programs within Madison Manor. The Wellness Director is responsible for managing the overall health services, ensuring compliance with regulations, and promoting a culture of wellness among residents. The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills, a passion for overseeing and facilitating the delivery of the highest deep quality of care possible. This individual will possess the ability to lead by example and hold the team accountable in order to create a successful and healthy working environmen. Responsibilities Manage and supervise health care staff to ensure high-quality service delivery. Oversee medical records management, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations. Conduct documentation reviews to maintain standards of care and regulatory compliance. Develop and implement health and wellness programs tailored to resident needs. Ensure adherence to resident rights while providing critical care services. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes. Maintain knowledge of Medicare regulations and ensure compliance within the facility. Provide training and support to staff on anatomy knowledge and best practices in home care. Requirements Proven experience in a supervisory role within a healthcare setting. Strong knowledge of medical records management and documentation review processes. Familiarity with critical care practices and home care services. Excellent understanding of resident rights and Medicare regulations. Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with staff, residents, and families. A nursing degree or equivalent qualification is preferred.
