Ensure compliance with all federal, state, local, and facility regulations. Conduct daily clinical rounds and monitor resident care. Review nursing documentation for accuracy and regulatory compliance. Participate in Quality Assurance (QA) and Performance Improvement initiatives. Implement corrective action plans when necessary. Staff Leadership Help maintain appropriate RN, LPN, and CNA staffing levels. Assist with employee evaluations, coaching, and performance management. Mentor Charge Nurses and nursing staff. Coordinate and facilitate staff education and in-service training. Resident Care Participate in resident assessments and interdisciplinary care planning. Coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges. Communicate with physicians, residents, and family members regarding changes in condition and care plans. Investigate concerns and ensure resident rights, dignity, privacy, and safety are always maintained. Qualifications Current, unencumbered Wisconsin Registered Nurse (RN) license required. Minimum of one (1) year of experience as an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) or Unit Manager required. Previous Long-Term Care (LTC) or Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) experience preferred. Graduate of an accredited nursing program. Knowledge of rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices. Ability to provide direct clinical care when needed. Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and decision-making skills. Ability to remain calm under pressure while leading a multidisciplinary team. Join Our Team!
