Overview We are seeking a proactive and energetic Part Time Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the functionality and safety of our residential and commercial properties. Your expertise will help ensure our facilities operate smoothly, providing a positive experience for residents and guests alike. This position offers an excellent opportunity to apply your mechanical, electrical, and facilities maintenance skills in a dynamic environment. Duties Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on building systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical equipment Troubleshoot and repair issues using schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals Conduct welding repairs and perform basic carpentry tasks such as residential painting when needed Operate tools such as ohmmeters, schematics readers, and programmable logic controllers to diagnose problems accurately Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) Assist with facilities upkeep including cleaning, painting, and minor repairs to ensure property standards are met Supervise or coordinate with contractors or vendors during specialized maintenance or repair projects Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in facilities maintenance and troubleshooting complex systems Proficiency in electrical work including reading schematics and using testing tools like ohmmeters Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) used in building automation systems Skilled in welding techniques for repair and fabrication tasks Knowledge of residential painting techniques and general carpentry skills Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics accurately Excellent customer service skills with clear communication in English Supervising experience is a plus for coordinating maintenance activities effectively Familiarity with CMMS software for tracking work orders and maintenance history Leadership qualities to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining safety standards Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to maintaining high-quality living environments!
