Assistant Director of Nursing Educator Job Summary:
Waters Edge Health and Rehabilitation Center in Kenosha, Wisconsin, is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Assistant Director of Nursing Educator to join our team of compassionate healthcare professionals. Responsibilities include but not limited to: Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to develop and implement educational programs for nursing staff, addressing knowledge gaps and skills deficits Design and deliver comprehensive training sessions, workshops, and in-service programs to improve nursing practice and promote a culture of excellence Conduct needs assessments, evaluates program effectiveness, and recommends updates or modifications to ensure program relevance and impact Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting active participation, open communication, and constructive feedback Assist the DON in managing day-to-day nursing department operations Supervise nursing staff and provide clinical guidance and support Ensure accurate, timely documentation and reporting Participate in clinical leadership on-call rotation Assist with hiring, onboarding, training, and staff evaluations Provide coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback Support disciplinary processes as needed Promote teamwork and a positive work environment provide education to staff Qualifications Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Wisconsin Minimum 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience in long-term care (required) Experience in Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) / Long-Term Care (LTC) required Strong knowledge of infection control standards and nursing best practices Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills What We Offer We believe in supporting the people who care for our residents every day.
