The Assistant Director of Nursing job responsibilities include managing the nursing department with the goal of providing a safe, home-like environment where our residents can achieve and maintain their fullest level of wellness and function. This position utilizes sound clinical practices to maintain excellent quality care as well as manages the clinical team and oversees resident health and wellness through regular resident monitoring and communication.
Key Responsibilities:
Defines and maintains the standards of nursing practice within the facility Implements nursing policy and procedure and ensures smooth operation of the clinical department. Other relevant duties as may be required or assigned. Ensuring continued adherence to all federal, state, and local regulations Management and oversight of all nursing staff Providing planning, organization, education, supervision, and evaluation of all services provided in the facility Verifying that all department staff is properly trained to perform their required duties Ensuring that operation of the Nursing Department remains consistently within budget Experience with the applicable state
Survey Rules & Regulations, Medicare and Medicaid Assistant Director of Nursing Qualifications:
5+ years of RN experience Current WI Registered Nurse (RN) license Strong communication and interpersonal skills Thorough knowledge of state and federal regulations in long-term care Experience with the applicable state Survey Rules & Regulations, Medicare and Medicaid #OPPHP What's in it for you?
